Situated just yards from New Quay’s picturesque sea front, The Hungry Trout is a regionally
renowned seafood restaurant; specialising in locally caught fish from around Cardigan Bay. With a
warm, inviting atmosphere and an outside terrace with commanding views, guests enjoy an
attentive yet relaxed fine-dining experience.

Fusing creativity, classical simplicity and natural contemporary ingredients, we
ensure all fish is dolphin-friendly and cooked fresh to order. Whether your preference be shellfish,
lobster, bass, tuna, Dover sole or a traditional meat dish, we endeavor to cater to all tastes,
including several vegetarian options – and if it's not on our extensive menu, we’ll order it in.
The restaurant sits up to 40 people, is non-smoking and features a fully licensed bar offering an
extensive wine list with a large selection of brandys, liqueurs and ports.

We also pride ourselves on our extensive list of homemade desserts and welsh cheese selection.
